We do cherish the success of business entrepreneurs then why to frown eyebrows for political entrepreneurs . A simple answer for a difficult question - It's not about doing new things recklessly but about doing things in a new way which adds value to our society. The election results suggests that those who stuck on irrelevant issues, lost badly. At the same time we see success of those who brought entrepreneurship in governance. Lets discuss some of the rises-
Rahul Gandhi - Even though I see poll results as collective mandate in favour or against state governments. But when it comes to congress performing well in states like UP,Punjab, credit goes to Rahul Gandhi. This 4th generation entrepreneur analyzed the structure of party. Came out with result that only internal fights are troubling. Strengthening his party at root level was the only cure. He inspired new people to join , especially young folks, gave them tasks and let them feel connected. He saw so many problems in his constituency. Resolution directly was not possible. so he created a new social structure, a group of hierarchies. We hope this guy keep on bringing new ideas when he joins the government.
Narendra Modi - I see him as the first new-age entrepreneur who challenged the cynical method of running a government. This guy believes in research, seminars, training programs and in direct communication to people by the government officials. He conducts seminars to attract foreign investors and monitors all the ongoing projects. He has brought research in agriculture, educating farmers with new techniques through agri-fares. Training programs are conducted for state govt. employees to motivate them to work professionally. A lot is done for social welfare. I really want to see him working for central govt. in future.
Nitish Kumar,Navin Patnaik,Raman Singh - The threesome belong to states which were among the most undeveloped states 5 years back. Even though they brought new projects or policies to their states, I mark their success as because of good administrators. They recognised loopholes in the process and tried effectively to bring transparency. Inspiring peoples around is an essential quality for any entrepreneur, these guys did it with their honesty and dedication towards work. We hope them to continue their work on.
Well I don't discuss Mamata Banerzi, as her success seems just outcome of Left failure. Now She has got a chance to work as cabinet minister and I hope she would be able to change my view.
